Roast beef, Rib Eye steaks and Tomahawk are only some of the specialities on the menu featuring delicious meats from sustainable farms in Argentina and Ireland. With the support of local butcher Rico Schlegel, from Brandenburg, the restaurant is also able to treat customers to a special delicacy – Dry Aged Steak – which requires extensive preparation by skilled chefs.
The waterfront eatery offers a fantastic view of the TV Tower, nestled between Museum Island and the Brandenburg Gate. Dine on the outdoor terrace overlooking the water or experience the comfortable atmosphere of the restaurants’ interior. Enjoy first-class burgers and the finest steaks from the kitchen which only uses meat from trusted manufacturers. Cattle are bred under the strictest guidelines and grow up under species-appropriate conditions. The result can be seen and, above all, tasted.
Chefs operate their own butchering kitchen where whole cattle can be specially prepared. Selected pieces are refined in an in-house Dry-Ager, where they develop an intense aroma. Before they reach the table, the steaks are then roasted to perfection in a lava stone grill.
The philosophy behind Brechts Steakhaus is inspired by poet Bertolt Brecht, while the restaurant’s main focus lays on premium beef and the correct way to prepare it.
Guests can look forward to juicy dry-aged steaks, prime cuts, roast beef, filet and tartare – ideal for every gourmet and meat lover. Homemade sauces and side dishes complete the offer along with salads and vegetarian dishes.
