Jamaica presents expanded hotel capacity and enhanced connectivity at ITB Berlin 2025
Marked by its green mountain sides, crystal-clear rivers, white beaches, and a turquoise-coloured sea, Jamaica is an ideal destination for travellers looking to recharge their batteries and unwind. After a successful tourism year in 2024, the Caribbean island continues to strengthen its offering in 2025. Through the expansion of several hotel brands, including the USD 1.4 billion (approximately 1.34 billion euros) project by Bahia Principe, over 6,000 new rooms are being created on the island. Accessibility to Jamaica is also being enhanced with additional Edelweiss flights from Zurich and Condor flights from Frankfurt. These new connections will enable visitors to enjoy the diversity of the island’s six resort regions Montego Bay, Negril, Ocho Rios, Kingston, Port Antonio, and South Coast more easily than ever before.
